3020 diesel 24 to 12 kit sources

Well I am finally going to try to convert over to a 12 volt setup on my 1968 jd 3020 diesel. I don't want to have to move the two fuel filters, so does anyone know of a source where I can get the entire kit (starter, wires, alternator and such)? I have seen a few on ebay ranging from $400-800.

I use an Iskra starter and it only takes a little bit of wiring using a one wire Delco alternator. The Iskra starter is short enough to fit well and tough enough to work well..

My rebuilder just sells me the iskra starter, start relay, and delco alternator. I modify wiring and cables as needed. You can re-use the generator bracket if you turn it over and grind away the front top to clear the alternator fan. Use a long bolt and a spacer to mount the alternator. Works with the original pulley and belt. If it's a chore tractor that idles a lot, I use a smaller pulley on the alternator so it kicks in at lower engine rpm.

I bought one for a 4010 through all state ag parts and was pretty happy with it. It didn't come with cables though and had the delco starter.
