4020 Speedometer

The neighbor has a 1967 4020 synchro with a bad Speedometer/Tachometer. Cable is good. It turns out the Speedometer has the MPH vs gear printed on the face on the Speedometer. The knob and rotating bar with MPH is not used.
Is this a correct part for the 4020? The catalog calls out p/n ar50406 which has the knob. He would prefer the MPH printed on the face of the speedometer.
Scanning ebay I see the two cylinder and Dubuque tractors had the MPH printed on the face. Is there a cross?
I did give the neighbor the number for Star Speedometer advertised in Green Magazine. Thanks. Paul
