1520 Loader

I have a 1520 and I am looking for a John Deere Loader for it.
I know the model 47 and 48 fit this tractor but remember days on the farm where the 48 and 148 also fit the JD 4020. I have found a few of the 48 models but they seem to be rather big for the 1520.
Does anyone know of the newer models that my fit the 1520 or where a guy can source the models of loaders that will mount on the 1520?

I have a 1520 with a 48 loader on it,I took the
loader off a 1020,it is the perfect loader for both
these tractors and the 2020 also in my opinion,the
quick detach system works great also,you can have
the loader off and on in 15-20 minutes.

The manual for my 48 loader includes the 1520 in the quick-tatch version.

A JD48 loader is a great heavy duty loader for a 1520 tractor. Had one on a 2020 and liked it. You won't have to worry about your tractor tearing up that loader.

Make sure you have the engine side brackets on your tractor to take the strain off your engine block. With a big loader, a straight front axle works better than a swept-back axle as the front wheels are closer to the bucket.

My 1520 is a 1973 and originally came off the sales lot with a 145 loader - works well and makes a good combo
