Is there a easy way to align crank& cam timing mark, after installing crank, block, head I notice timing mark off one tooth.
 
May have to drop the lifter box enough to slide the cam to the right to slip it one notch. May have to drop the oil pump too.
 
I believe if you pull the cam bearing on the left side you can lift it enough to rotate the gear .Push rods need to be loose and governor housing needs to be loose if it is installed or slide governor gear out enough.
