How could I get a 8.5:1 compression ratio? The F900R cam has been reground stock, and I'm using LP pistons. Will that get me there? Do I need to mill any off the head? I plan to relieve eyebrows and port match. Will the fixed jets in the Carb be sufficient for these gains? Thanks.

Darn, a stock cam. There is a cam wizard and two cylinder guru by the name of Josh Blackburn.Ph # 989-277-5366 .
Josh can provide a cam that will make gobs more power than the stock cam.
Stock LP pistons were 7.3 to 1.What kind of fuel octane were you planning? 7.3 to 1 maybe enough? Josh can find custom pistons if you wish. The open combustion chamber lacks a quench and will knock at ratio's that a 720/730 will operate ok with.
The eyebrows and surrounding metal can be cut to level with the top of the intake valve seat.
A race shop can grind a 5 angle valve job.
Don't really cut metal from the ports but blend over sharp edges and match ports.
