I was about to install the carburetor on my 520 and noticed that
that there were two types of bolts for the manifold and air cleaner
sides of the carburetor. However, the parts book call for 8, 3/8" X
1" (all the same). The head on four of them is stamped "E" and four
are stamped "L". The heads on the "L's" are thicker. Have you ever
noticed this and does it make any difference?
 
I always thought the thicker heads were more "correct", but it cannot make any real difference.
