I am having trouble installing the spring on the choke shaft and lever. I seems it would only go on one way, but when I install it, the choke butterflies are not level, they are slightly raised toward the choke position. If I pull back the choke lever, it goes into the choke position as normal, but when its unchoked the butterflies remain partially closed. If you move the plates you can feel the spring tension. I bought this carb partially disassembled. Any help would be appreciated.
