45 BN power lift leak

Working through the 45 BN, I found the power lift reservoir dry, so I put the 30 wt oil in it Sunday up to the proper level. Went back today and there was a gallon of 30 wt oil on the ground under the tractor and an empty reservoir. I'm new to styled letter series. Is there a most common cause I should check first to fix the leak? Thanks up front

I would crawl under the tractor and check the pump center section just ahead of the PTO. They get water in them and it settles to the lowest point which is the pump and when it freezes it cracks the pump center section.
