430 John Deere Fenders

I bought a 430 John Deere 2 cylinder tractor last week. I
bought it from the daughter and son-in-law of the man who
bought it new in 1960.

Tractor has a set of fenders on it that look like the ones that
would be on a 630 or 730 standard. All I have saw on these
small tractors were the clam style fenders. The tractor is as
straight as you could hope for to be a 54 year old tractor and
has been very well maintained.

Are these standard type fenders an option for fenders for this
tractor, or have the clam styled fenders been replaced with the
standard type fenders. They fit perfectly on the tractor and bolt
up as they should.

Thanks for your comments.

Probaby has a set of heavy duty fenders, they were an option.

Ray----Those are exactly like on our 430. Never have I saw a set like these. I was concerned mine weren't correct. Like I said in my post above the tractor is as straight as can be and I just couldn't believe the original owned had put something on it that was not correct. Thanks for helping.

A daughter sold her Pop's tractor he bought new in 1960.... man I bet some day she or the grand-kids comes a-lookin' to find it.
