Removing Seat on 620

I just bought a 620, the steering shaft/wheel was taken off at some point and needs to be put back on prior to my being able to load it.
Might be easier to take the seat off and just slide the wheel and shaft back in place over pulling the wheel off the shaft.
The seat on this doesnt seem to come off the front like on my 70. Am I correct that with a bit of oil/force the seat should slide off the front of the battery box?

It does on my 630 and 720...

Why would you need to remove the seat..?

You can take the 4 small mounting bolts out of the Battery Box and lift the Float-Ride Seat assembly right off..

I'll have to look at that when I go to pick it up. They looked pretty rusty to me and I thought sliding the seat off the front might be the easiest.

Should slide right off the front. Maybe the latch isn't releasing or someone put a bolt in the other side to hold it tight from wiggling around ?
