These questions relate to the rubber seals and felt packing for the
choke and throttle shafts:
1.Do the lips on the rubber seals turn in or out? I know on an oil
seal the lip goes toward the oil.
2.Does the rubber seal go inside the felt packing, or outside? Or,
which one goes on first?
3. Do the casting plugs (like little freeze plugs) require any sealer?
They seem a little smaller that the original.
