Correct prices....I was standing within 30 ft of the auctioneer.....Prices drop off a bunch when you get west of the Mississippi River..None of the tractors were running...

does a friday auction have anything to do with it? It seems to me if i make an auction through the week there seems to be a lot less competition. I gave more for my G, d's, and GPs....

wish i could have been there...

It was actually a Thursday auction which is rather unusual..I'm
glad it wasnt on Saturday because I have another sale to go to
in KS with 30 plus tractors..

There were 2000 toys on this sale..This line plus 6 trailer
loads..I have been to Saturday auctions in this area of OK and
the prices are about the same as this one..

Being from the NorthEast, it would be fun to stop by one of those auctions out there.
On most of those listed and their selling price,
I could just raise my hand when bidding started...and leave it in the air....
Have your fun, bid all you want, my hand stays up.....mine.
And I spend half of what I would have here at home....

most shocking here is that 40
Those used 'looks like the proper 40T size' rear tires and wheels would bring that much by themselves......

Location and transportation play a big factor in the price..and no matter how much you pay for one it's tuff to make any money on one weather you just resell it or recondition it for resell..It's a labor of Love to fix one up. I am looking for a 60 in my area now, there is a decent one on Craigs for $2100, fair to good paint and rubber. I paid $1,000 for the one I made the 60C from, it had set in a barn for 12 years with the water pump out,bad rubber very poor paint, and would barely run, but I intended to go all the way down and back up with it, so I was just looking for a body,, same with my next project, no matter what I will be going clear through it to be sure of what I have when I'm done, straight sheet metal will be the focal point as I shop..here is a picture of getting the 60C donor tractor running for the first time, it was tuff bring her back to life when I brought her home, I wanted to make sure the power steering worked before I stripped her down...
