630 power steering greasing ?

Does anyone ever grease the thrust bearing at the bottom of the power steering pedestal on the two cylinders? My 630 just has a plug in that hole no grease fitting. Thanks

Yes, you should remove it and LUB. Quite a job to repair.

Yea I just greased the one on my 60, they must not need to be greased very often because there is no access without removing the nose to get to the zerk

The Operator's Manual for my 60 says to give it a shot of grease once a year. Hope this helps you.

On my 620 I had a leak there after greasing no more leak
