John Deere B Grill Repair

I have a 1941 B with a good grill, not rusted out or bent up, but the screen wire needs replaced. Would welcome advice on how to replace it, or someone who is in that business. Thanks a lot.

Get the screens from Detweiler. Their screens have the indentations where they bolt to the pedestal. Those that don't have the indentations are almost impossible to form correctly and you will probably destroy them trying to shape them properly.
The old screens are spot welded to the frame. I use a special spot weld bit that I got from TP Tools to drill the welds out. You can also use a thumb grinder to grind out the welds also.

I put new screens in my 51 G. Tacked them in with a mig welder.
