530 HOOD BOLTS

Does anyone know where to buy the original style hood bolts and washers for a 530? My John Deere dealer says to just use regular 5/16 bolts and a fender washer. It just don't look right.

The last several rather common items I tried to buy from Davenport came up as not in stock on the website. Called and talked to a very pleasant lady who when asked, said the products would not be back in stock. Doesn't appear good for the health of the business. Is there a rest of the story?

I just got 3 different packages from connect connection. It took Joe about 10 days to complete the order. He has a full time rock crushing business which takes most of his time keeping that going. He will get them to you but may take time as Correct Connection is a hobby.

I just talked to Joe at Correct Connections. He was very nice, had exactly what I needed, and was so reasonable priced that I ordered two sets of the bolts and rubber washers. Will make my restoration. Thanks to all who helped me. John
