Model G Power Block and All Fuel

I think an early D is correct. The Power Blocks I had had high compression pistons, tapered in at the top as the top of the top of the block was.

My question is why would you want to? If you did want to lower compression you can just get a factory block and pistons. There are pullers everywhere who would love to have your Power Block setup. Most people want more power, not less. Mike

I would like to know what HP increase I might get when running on kerosene by going from a standard block to a power block. Using gas for field work where I come from is not an option due to costs.

Kerosene is far more expensive than gas. Your power gain would be 2 or 3 hp over stock, if you're lucky. You would need custom pistons or a block spacer.

How about a little simple math ?
The stock G makes 38HP on 412.5 cu"
The power block IF making the same power per cu" would be 42.7HP.112% of factory HP.
There would be as much or more power in a cam and port work.
