Tx Jim - 4240 light recepticle question

I am hooking up a light receptacle on my 4240 so that I will have tail lights / flashers working on my NH baler. From Deere I bought the outlet part # AR75695 and what I think is the proper wiring harness part # AR75696. This is a two - wire harness and I need to know if this is the correct harness and also where to plug it in (under the dash cowling perhaps?). It came with no installation instructions and I was expecting it to contain more wires. Should there be a ground? An inline fuse? Any insight from you guys is greatly appreciated!

Yes you need a ground wire. I think this wiring harness(parts key 4) plus a ground wire(parts key 1) is more what you need and for the price I'd recommend to just make your own harness.

On 40 series there is a 2 wire connector under the right front of the cab that you connect the turn signals to. Tail lights in the same area but may have to tap into a wire for them. Yes there should be a ground wire. I just buy the plug and make the harness.

OK, I will look for the connection Cliff mentioned and tap into any wiring I need to at the fenders. Thanks for the replies.
