Help on 2302 Plow ID - JD 3-Point 2 Bottom Plow Model 2302 ?

Have an original John Deere 2-Bottom Plow that has # 2302 in original paint on it but can"t seem to find anything about that # plow when I search for it. Does anyone know if that is the beam or model # or any other information. It's a 2-Bottom 3-Point plow. Thanks! See picture that I"ll try to post of the 2302 number.

That is the shipping bundle number for RH 26" beam-disc assy's . Pics are one of my 880 series rollover disc plows and you can see " SD 2302 " on the RH ones and " SD 2303 " on the LH ones . Look close and you will see yours is " SD 2302 " . Need better pics of the frame and better overall pics to tell what one it is . Dave

Thanks Dave - yes you are right it's a disc plow. We will get pictures today yet in better light and post them and let you know. There is a 1250 plow there also and got confused but should of said disk plow. Will get you more pictures soon and thank you!

It's a 475 . Early version built 1958 - 1965 . Late version started in 1965 and I have no idea when it stops . Go to the JD parts catalog site and look up PC 589 and you will see all about it . You going to sell this beast ? I like weird 3 point 2 cyl stuff .Especially the rollover types with the 2 cylinders & rocker arm . We call those " Barney & Freds " as it looks like Flintstone technology . Dave

Hi Dave,

Dave thank you for the ID help on it! I am going to sell it and it is a 1 1/2 hours south of Nashville where I live and it's by Fayetteville, TN. Also have a # 1250 plow I'll attach a picture of. I was thinking it was made for some of the 1950's Deere's which is why I posted the pictures and I do see now the # 475 Integral 2-Disk Plow is listed as a Matched Implement in the 30 series book for the 330, 430 and 435. So I assume it was also matched for the 320 and 420 too. I would sell both plows for $1,000 is what I was hoping to come out on them at. I can help a little to try and get them transported reasonable I think too.
