Just trying to find out what kind of fluid/oil to put in my John Deere 50 series power steering gear box, what weight, type and perferred brand?

Many of us prefer to use the real stuff, John Deere power steering oil for 2 cylinder tractors.

I have added a small amount of STP (pre-mixed) with JD Power steering fluid and notice a very much smoother operation (but, mine may be a little tired).
Won't hurt anything..
