45 BN Fuel tank repair

A 45 JD BN was given to me by family. It was gone thru about 10 yrs ago and the "innards" are all brand new. MAYBE 20 hours of easy parade time on em, absolutely rust free. About 7 years ago it was parked inside and the sheet metal skin and tanks were removed and leaned up in a corner; the fuel tank accumulated condensation water and rusted out in one place about 2 by 6 inches; the rest of the tank isnt even rusted inside. How is the best way to repair this? Fiberglass over wire, patch welded on, JB Weld? I will try to post a picture of it. Not looking for expo quality, just to do some light work with (mow and rake hay etc). Yall know more and I value your opinions.

I agree 'bout soldering a patch. However, must'nt forget the standard warnings about flame/heat around fuel tanks... even empty and bone dry fuel tanks.
Be safe! If you've not done it before, ask first.
