Can I get a puller in to remove the dampener, without sliding front forward, if I take the coupling and shaft extension off the hydraulic pump?

Take the hydraulic pump drive studs out and bolt your puller on. It comes right off.

Just saw your earlier post, if you can get a puller on the outside of the damper and pull it off the you should be able to get ahold of the inner piece thats on the crank.

Yes, you can. The puller needs to be short legged. Sometimes have to remove the bottom bolts on the radiator and slide it foreward slightly to get the damper out past the shroud.
