Today I was looking at the trottle linkage on my
31 D that is not responding as I think it should.
When you release the clutch I have to be careful
to not go to fast and kill the engine. My concern
is, in OM R2008R page52 you can see the spring
above the governor. My spring is compressed fully
and no movement when you throttle up/down. What
does the adjustments do and how to set it.
Nothing in the book about it. I think I need a new
spring. This tractor was bought by grandpa in 33
and is a 31D, Wand to keep using. Thank you for
