so my new purchase has made it home. It's in better condition than I thought, which is good for once!
The duals are off, and the inside tires are too narrow for the kind of work I'll be doing with it. it must have been set up for row crops.
It's got the cast iron centers and no signs that the hubs have been moved recently.
What are the secrets to loosening up and moving these hubs? What are some things I shouldn't do?
Also, this tractor came with 18.4/42s and my old 4630 has 20.8/38s. when I measure the tires on the two sets of duals, the tires measure the same height. is the overall height of these tractor tires the same?
Other than that I need to widen the front, and take the aux. fuel tank off of the front. This old girl ws a find!
