After using tractor today, noticed clutch was not snapping in as much as like. When adjusting, I noticed entire clutch pulley and crank seem to be moving about 1/8 of inch when engaging and disengaging. I assume this a problem...my 60 does not move that I can see. Thoughts on what issue might be and repaired/adjusted?

If your crank is moving, I would certinaly be pulling that flywheel cover to make sure that flywheel hasn't come loose on the crank! The endplay is set at the flywheel.

Look at it closely and see..

The Clutch-Drum does move some, when the Clutch is engaged, to squeeze the clutch-linings..

Ron.

If end play issue which it appears to be as much as it is moving....what is best way to correct? Manual is not clear on process. Is it just a matter of hammering the flywheel tighter on the crankshaft and re-tightening flywheel?
