Considering the replacement of my 24V Gen with a 24V Alternator on my 4010. Nothing wrong with it....just that the low generator output takes awhile to charge the batteries especially if I"m running the lights.
Found a New OE Leece Neville that matches to a TY1448 which, according to JD, is the 24v Alternator for a 4020 24v system.
If I got this alternator, what else would I need to do electrically speaking? Would I still keep the voltage regulator? And what about wiring it up?
Thanks for any insight on this.
