differential lock

Differential lock on 5020 was working, had it in for brake valve work and now lock does not work. Is there any kind of adjustment on these or do they work or not work?

NO adjustment.

Did little steel lines somehow get scrambled around so there's no hydraulic line pressure to the diff lock valve?

Your mechanic may have forgotten to connect a hydraulic line. Do you see any leaks or missing lines around that valve? Maybe look at the pictures in your operators manual and compare them to what is there now. It wouldn't be the first time something like that was over looked.

Tell you mechanic what it's doing and ask him to drive out and fix it. Have him bring the service manual along, as most Deere service manuals have pretty good color coded hydraulic diagrams, not just schmatics.

Possible that the return line and the diff lock pressure line got reversed....they are all close together there near the brake valve...and the same size....
