Does anybody know where you can still get grease in one gallon cans? Five gallons pails are easy to find, but not the old paint can size.

Eric,
I've seen small "tubs" in small plastic containers at good auto parts stores. Usually it's wheel bearing grease but I think they also have general purpose grease that way. They may not be as big as a gallon but small tquart size or so. grease is sold by the pound not liquid measure. Good Luck, John

This is for a Plews grease gun I have that was made to fit onto the old metal paint can sized gallons of grease. The hose ended on a round metal plate that clipped on in place of the paint can-style can's lid. Apparently those aren't sold any more, just 5 gallons and up.

I bought one of these for greasing equipment and could never go back to anything else
