I have rebuilt several, but always connecting the Rubber torsion spring last..

Has anyone assembled these by assembling the rubber torsion springs First, then installing the Pins/Bushings on the rest..?

Looks like it may be something to try..?

Sunsdahl's make a tool that makes it easier to install the rubber float springs to the adjusting shaft. $38.00 plus shipping

Guess I will try assembling it this way and see..

Looks like the arms will be easier to put in place than that crossbar..!

Let you know soon..

Thanks..
Ron.

Put the springs together, pre-loaded them then installed the bushings and it better than previous seats I have done.
It was easy to put the adjuster in, using a large pipe wrench to twist the rubber springs.
I would do it this way again..
