Load Control leak on 630

The load control is leaking hydraulic oil on my 630. How big a job is it to replace the oil seal? Any tricks to getting to the seal? Thanks for your help.

I would not tackle that job without a copy of the JD service manual. There is a separate manual just on the hydraulic assemblies for those tractors. I do not have the SM # handy though.
There is lots of things to take loose and adjust in there but should not really be a hard job to do.
The only one I ever had apart was on my 720D and on that EVERTHING on that tractor came apart anyhow. So those seals were just a small part of it.

I have an I&T Shop Manual for the 630.

Those are ok , but nothing near as good as the special one Deere put out on just the hydraulic units for when you need to work on one.
