John Deere 2010C. Correct oil for a quick reverse trans?
My guess would be a Hydraulic, Transmission fluid. But things were a lot different when this tractor was built in 1960. This one has the fluid drive transmission lever on the dash and I just put new clutch packs and bearings in the forward, reverse transmission. Recommendations? Thanks, Dandy Dave!

I'm not that knowledgeable on JD industrial machines but I'll bet Hy-Gard is the correct oil.

I'm assuming you're talking about the HL-R
powershift trans ahead of the gear-four-speed trans?
Modern oil calls for a combo trans/hydraulic oil
that meets Deere Hyguard specs.
