can anyone tell me about the big pto on an unstyled g and what it is used for? thanks

That seems to me to be an odd question, as it could be used for the same things as any other PTO.

It was just an odd size, RPM was more or less standard.

Adapters could be and still cam be bought to convert it to standard size.

There evidently were some equipment made that used that size pto, can't remember any though. Someone will surely remember.

we had a binder that ran off of pto on our old G. It had a big coupler to slide on the larger shaft. I later used it on a #5 mower I ran off the G. I would think the coupler must have been an option back then.
