I replaced an automatic fuel shut off on a 720. Photos show the in process work. There are two gas paths from the tank to carburetor. One path goes through the auto shut off. The other path goes direct from tank to carb. Both paths use rubber hose.
I don"t think this is normal from the factory although I have been told it is. It sure seems strange to me that there are two paths.
Any comments as to factory original or after market "farmer fix"? If it"s "farmer fix", what on earth could it be "fixing"?
