JD 620 dual implement question

Hello,
I was wondering what peoples thoughts are on if a jd 620 can pull a 14' disk and a 14' IH 100 drill together in second gear or third on flat land in medium heavy soil? The disk would be set almost straight in front of the drill. Thanks!!

Will you be on plowed ground, bean stubble or corn stalks? A 14 foot straight disk and a drill might work. In plowed ground a 14 foot tandem disk alone would be a big load for a 620.

I will be in wheat stubble that has been disked once in the prior fall.

I own a 620 & on Flat ground / wheat stubble
I don"t doudt for a second it would pull
it. I have pulled 14 ft disc with mine on
plowed ground & does pull them well. But I"m
here to tell you it will USE the gas if your
going to work the short hairs off it. A 730
diesel on the other hand, will do it faster on
a 1/4 of the fuel consumption. All depends on
the acerage you plan to plant, whether you can
justify a bigger tractor.
