Late styled JD B with duplex caburetor

HI-Was wondering if anyone has seen a late series JD B with a duplex carburetor. Can JD 50 manifold, intake, head, and front air intake hookup be used?
My uncle thinks he had a JD B like this back in the 1960's and was wondering if it was an experimental unit?

I don't think the b and 50 head interchange.
I have seen several A's with 60 heads though. This may be what they saw ?

Only thing gained is a smoother idle.

My uncle in KY had a late B with a water pump like the 50, never seen one with the duplex carb.

If you want to put a duplex carb on that B, my son is making adapters that will bolt to the manifold and then you bolt the carb to it. Email is open if you want contact info.

You still will only have a single intake runner feeding both cylinders I don't see how that would gain anythng ?

50 head has different bolt pattern so you need the head, block, manifolds, carb & air intake off a 50- not cheap.

Lot more air flow going through the duplex than the single barrel. If you have a big motor you need all the air you can get.
