First, the flywheel would have to have teeth for the starter to engage, so you would have to find a flywheel if yours has no teeth. I had an 1946 A and the starter was mounted underneath the block. I don't know about the hydraulics but I suspect you would have to change the whole housing under the seat. The hydraulic pump is transmission driven some way, never did get into that on mine. Short answer is I think it would be too much trouble and expense.
