John Deere B tractor

I have a John Deere B tractor 214000 serial # that's making sort of noise like a bearing going out but its coming from lifter area checked the valves one was loose adjusted all of them every thing looks ok any ideas what could cause the noise?

went back out ran it some more doesn't sound like fan shaft that's what I thought first to I wonder if the rockers are getting enough oil? the sound is on the right side of valve cover might have to run with valve cover off and see what's going on thanks Howard

If you have not recently, Grease that Front Fan-Shaft Bearing..
When it needs grease, the noise will sound like it is in the Governor.
Very common to forget to service that Bearing..

If the tractor has a water pump the pump bearing is starting to seize up.
