Have been a veteran poster for some time and most of my questions are very technical. I have a JD 4400 purchased new 1999. After hard use I would note that tractor would crank but not start. Jiggled wires, reconnected plug to solenoid and it would start. Some 3-4 years ago replaced the resistor behind the fuse block thought I had resolved. Just recently I used it for mowing running at full throttle, both times on next start try cranking but no starting. I "ve now recheck the wires to the resistor, pulled the square fuses, put connector grease. I wonder if those tend to fail is used at high rpm...any opinions appreciated.....tks Chuck
