2640 no hydralic or steering

was given a 2640 with a koyer loader. everything appeared to be working ok lift cylinder seal on loader leaking so friend relaced for me. started running loader to push air out of cylinders. loader was raising then it quit now no power steering and 3 point wont raise. did bad luck hit and main pump go out or could something cause oil flow restriction.any help would be appreciated thanks RJ IN WYO

Check frt hyd pump drive coupler to be sure it's not stripped & pump shaft is spinning when engine is running. Next change hyd filter & check trans sump screen.

My guess is (1) sump screen/ filter plugged,,(2) failing transmission pump/or leak in that area...the front pump is most likely okay...you are about to find out why I don't like these models...Darn it

If I read this correct you were "Given" this tractor, Whats that saying. If something sounds to good to be true it probably is!.
I hope you get lucky and it's a piece of junk from the cylinder got someplace it shouldn't.
I had to tell a customer to shoot his 1830 Deere last winter. It had way more issues with filings/junk in hyd system, than I wanted to fix, and he wanted to spend money on!
