Hello

I am looking at a reproduction air stack off e-bay and was
going to attach it with JB Weld.

Has anyone gone this route regarding to purchase and/or the
way to attach it.

Thanks Gimpl

Pete is correct..

Spot weld is best, or at least a 1/4
aluminum rivot in 3 spots

Hi,
I have a 40 B that I did just that. The bottom part was still in tact under the hood. I bought a new stack from one of the venders. I cleaned the socket part around the outside edge along with removing the paint at the bottom of the stack. I lathered the JB around the stack bottom and pressed it in, then smoothed the JB weld out around the stack and socket. It worked for Me!If the hood is off, I'd tack weld it.
