71 4020 advertised with shuttle shift with power shift.I know some industrial loaders had shuttle.My newer loader tractors have it and it is handy just never heard of that option on 4020.

LH reversr linkage for a 4020 rowcrop tractor is not in the parts catalog nor do I remember that as an option when I sold NEW 4020's. Yes LH reverser was an option on the model 600 ind tractor that was similar to a 4020.
I had a customer that cut the tab out of the dash between the 4 reverses and the first 4 forward gears on a power shift...kind of a home made shuttle He could shift from 1-4 F to 1-4 R with a short sideways stroke. I never studied the linkage to see if you could cut the slot out and have 8 reverses!!

There's 4 different LH reverse shifters listed in the 600 ind tractor PC's. 2 for each type trans with each type having a SN break

Larry: Here's a pic of added [looks like homemade] shuttle shift handle on "71" 4020 powershift, listed on South Dakota, CL./... Tractor also has wrong wide front & wrong fenders for "71" 4020...
