4010 timing

I have a 4010 that was a standard 4010 with serial number of 16619. So I believe it's a 1961. I know the it manual says 14° before TDC but, I have heard 14 to be incorrect? What should I set it at?

It depends on if the injection pump has been upgraded to one with speed advance. I think 14 is right without speed advance but with speed advance it is different. I don't remember the # without looking it up out at the shop but I can do that if no one else gets it for you.

If speed advance 1AJ pump is used set timing to 8 BTDC.
