The dates Blaine gave confirm what I said that both early and late styled B's were built in model year 1947.
When B's were introduced for model year 1935 the model year ran from Nov 1 to Oct 31 the following year. This continued through model year 1937. In 1938, the model year was cut short to 8 months and ended on June 30, 1938. Model year 1939 started on July 1, 1938 and continued until June 30, 1939 as the first year of "styled" tractors. The 1940 through 1947 model years continued with July start dates and June end dates. Model year 1948 started on July 1 1947 and ended on October 31, 1948. It was 16 months long and put the model year back to Nov. 1 to Oct. 31 starting with model year 1949.
