Does anyone know a better way to get the timing marks lined up on a injection pump for removal than cranking the engine over with the starter? I cant even come close to getting them lined up using this method. Thanks

Use a screwdriver in the timing hole to turn the flywheel.

Be sure too pry engine over the same direction as when it's running to keep slack out of timing gears.
