Welch plug under clutch fork shaft bearing

Is this part still avail from Deere (30H or 11R) The plug that is there is cockeyed and drips a little, need to make that stop. I'm not sure where to find the part or how to remove or install the new one.

Any ideas?

Would always be beneficial if posters would give a hint of what they are working on.
That being said you could measure the plug and check with a parts house.

oops it"s a 1935 john deere model D

Serial # 30,400 through 86,879 use part # 30H11. (.875" OD)

Serial # 68,880 and up us part # 30F13 (1.00" OD)

Both are still available through DEERE, and a REAL auto parts store should have them, as well.

Measure the hole and go to NAPA and get that size frost plug,drive it in and your done.Ron
