430 rock shaft control levers.... need help or pics

please help...i just bought a 430 and it has dual touch o matic. the inside lever works but the outside doesnt. i have the vavles locked in for dual operation. looking at the parts catolog , it appears i am missing some linkage, i can duplicate the linkage but i cannot figuire what it goes to ??? there is a half moon shape peice on the shaft that jd calls an equlizer, that has a hole where linkage should attach. when i move the metal block on the shaft manually, the lift arms work as designed!

Sorry but my crystal ball had dust on it obscuring the word standard in your original post so I took a WAG as to which model you were referring to. I think parts key 60 attaches to parts key 52 but some Dubuque 2 cyl guru will probably tell us I'm wrong

The valve(s) may move but the guts behind them maybe stuck.
Do you have the proper lever of the two tied in the proper place ?

Take a look at the parts diagram below.

The control arm (Key 9) is connected with the ball joint assembly (Key 60).

Take a look at the photo below of the linkage on "BW" our Model 40T.

Hope this helps.

ok. great! that makes sense. must be how the draft control works. now ill have to make those parts. thanks

also, i just flushed the oil and now have a lot of leaks, they must of been using a thicker weight oil. without rebuild (for now) what does everyone else use oil wise?

Having the additional information from the parts diagram that [b:654c4848f0]harley0427[/b:654c4848f0] displayed and stating that his tractor is a [b:654c4848f0]S[/b:654c4848f0]tandard helped a lot.

We added Lucas to the crankcase oil on one of the Model 70s.

We use 30W non-detergent oil in the PowrTrol on all our Model 70s.
