3010 Gas problem

My 3010 gas runs ok but when you give it a full throttel it stumbles a little then opens up. Also, when I have it at full throttle and slow it down it back fires and you can see flames come out the muffler. Any ideas?

Forgot to add that carb has been rebuilt professionally, new distributor, cap, points, condensor, plugs, coil and wires.

Give it up. I have had a couple of 3020 gas and a 4020 gas and I did everything to those tractors and they never ran right. I spent a bunch of money. I finally sold the 3020's and made the 4020 a diesel. Now it runs perfect. I have a 2510 gas and it is a good tractor. I don't know why, but it runs great. It is a little hard on points for some reason. I put about 40 hours a year on it and a set of points a year. And it's fine.

If its the pot metal carb. it has an accelerator pump diaphragm. back firing can tear this diaphragm . Could also cause the gas mix to go rich as gas can flow on into the intake .

I have the cast Zenith carb on it.
