Changing fluids

What are some recommendations for changing coolant and transmission oil. I have several tractors that put on less than 100 hrs per year now,(A,B 3010 and 4020) and want to know when to change fluids to prevent issues. Thanks for suggestions.

every year on oil and filter, every two on coolant. hydraulics can go longer, i just watch to see for moisture. my 4010 is same senario as yours, haven't changed hydraulic fluid for three years and it looks as good as the day i filled it after last change.

Also a lot depends on what conditions it is stored in. Outside ? under cover ? in heated shed in winter ?

Under ideal storage conditions I stretch these things out to FAR limits.

You are particular.

Oil every year
Coolant every 10, but check anti cavitate every year.
Hydraulic every lifettime

I would see no reason to do it more often.

If the tractors are not used much, it wouldn't hurt to crack open the drain plugs once or twice a year to drain off normal condensation. Too much water in the hydraulic fluid could harm the brake pads in the 3010 & 4020?

There are test strips to check the condition of antifreeze additives. Do the name brand (Prestone, etc.) antifreeze conditioners help to extend the life of antifreeze?
