What year JD B

E Needs

I went to look at a John Deere B today, it"s serial tag was missing and boy was it a basket case! I"m trying to figure out what year it is. It had a steel pan seat, hand start, pressed steel wheels, angle iron frame, crank case vent stack, and it was a styled tractor. It"s also an all fuel tractor. I would post a picture but I don"t know how to get it from my phone to this post. Thanks for your help!

You can't get it prom your phone to here, it must be loaded into a file and then onto here...some casting numbers might help...

The styled B with pan seat was built from 1939--1946
Does it have a 4 speed trans, or 6 speed, that info wood narrow it down somewhat

(quoted from post at 12:56:15 08/03/14) How do you do it from your iPhone 5? I can"t seem to make it work.

What I do... Plug my iPhone in to the computer. It shows up as a device on my computer. I navigate to it with the windows explorer. I keep going "down" the tree of folders and at the bottom is my pictures. Then I copy them to a folder where I want them. Finally, when I post here, I use the "upload photos" button on the "post a reply" page.

here's some instructions that I found from apple:

1.Connect the iOS device to the computer.
2.Choose Start > Computer.
3.Double-click the logo for the device to browse its folders.
4.Go to [iOS device]Internal StorageDCIM100APPLE.
5.Copy the content in this folder to your computer.

Likely war years with the pressed wheels, certainly prior to '47. A picture or two would help to narrow it down further.
