720 transmission oil

How do you check oil level on black dash 720d row crop. I have deere service manual and it shows a plug near flywheel side brake drum but I cant find one there or anywhere else.
Thanks

Keep looking. There's actually words on the case that say oil level. The "plug" is just a 3/8" bolt (9/16" wrench) with an aluminum washer to seal it. It should be behind and below the RH brake. Scrape off the debris to find it. Capacity for a row crop is ~ 9 gallons.

One of you is wrong. The flywheel side is the LEFT side,
clutch pulley side is the RIGHT side. So if it's on the Right side
you're looking on the wrong side.

Ok. I looked again today and found a plug with aluminum washer like described on flywheel side behind hydraulic lines. It was a lot lower on the case than I was expecting. I know I only put 5 gallons in after I drained it. I took the plug out and gear lube ran out. If that is the right plug I took out that probably means it is gaining fluid from somewhere else. Engine oil level is fine. hydraulic fluid maybe?

(quoted from post at 10:24:06 08/03/14) What is the proper capacity? The R/80/830 only holds 2.5
gallons.....

Oil capacity: 30 qts
