JD A clutch

I can"t get the clutch disc off the crankshaft. So far I have used a 3 arm wheel puller around the clutch spline. Any suggestions? Should I try heat?
This is on a 1952 JD A

you need two 1/2' cap screws lots of thread on them and two square nuts insert nuts in slots in the drive disc pull up evenly put the big bolt in the crank and hit it with BFH it will pop loose

The 1/2" square nut seems a little small. Could I use a larger nut and bolt? I have 1/2" square nuts but they can turn in the slot. I was also concerned that they might break the disc. Did yours also fit loose? Thank you for the reply. It has me going in the right direction.

Below is a picture of what I did. I had heated on it for a while but i'm not sure I would have needed it. this worked great and I had it off in about 5 minutes.

What you see is a high lift jack (farm jack) two long 1/2 bolts with nuts and a long peice of 1/2 in (I think) all thread with nuts and some washers. behind the big washer on the all thread is a nut that i am turning to push in on the crank shaft. There is a nut and washer at the crankshaft end so that it doesn't damage the crankshaft

I should add that my disc was cracked and i didn't care if it broke. It didn't though. I still have it somewhere.
